2021 House Season Update
To Our Valued Softball Families,
We hope that your families are all healthy and safe. This last year has been a difficult one to say the least, and has been particularly hard on our youth in sport in general.
While we were anticipating a return to the field, the reality is that due to continuing Covid restrictions and the lack of registration numbers, we regret to inform you that MMSA will not have a season this year for U12-U19. Although there is light at the end of the Covid tunnel with the mass vaccination rollout, it is not enough to help us this season and we anticipate a return to normal for the 2021/22 season.
For those that wish to play ball this season, Ridge Meadows still has spots available and registration is still ongoing until March 20. Please visit the RMMSA website for information.
The MMSA Executive is working towards the Learn to Play U6-U10 ages, to offer the skill development and fundamentals needed to learn the game and grow the sport in the community. We will work with the LTP coordinator to develop our future softball stars as well as developing coaches to continue our Community programs.
We look forward to returning to Pitching and Catching clinics in the fall and winter to get ready for a competitive 2022 season.
We hope to see you in the fall for the return of our clinics. We Thank you for your continued support and understanding .
